so no one told you life was gonna be this way

The Abercrombie & Fitch store smells like college.

Think if I walk in to the store I'll lose 15lb and be my 19 year old care free self?

Yeah, me either...

I am so caught up on sleep I could stay awake like forever. Okay..maybe not forever, but definitely long enough to watch Grey's tonight. I also need to make a few mermaids for my MYOM project for my Etsy shop. Important stuff going on there.

But what is really important is something that sort of has hit me the past week or so. I don't see ANYONE EVER. Really. I work all day, go home, hang with the kiddos, and wait for Michael to get home.  He gets home late, and that's like 75.98% of the not seeing anyone problem (aka, no one to watch the kids). But honestly, it's been so long since I've seen or talked to a lot of my friends, and everyone is busy with their own lives, that even if I COULD go out, there would probably be no one to go out with. Well, either that or its just been a nice excuse. Don't get me wrong, thanks to social media I  know what's going on with these friends, I just haven't actually talked to them about it. That make sense? Course.

So, I have resolved to make more of an effort to actually SEE my friends.  A few weeks ago my friend Natalie (who I saw WAY more when she lived in NYC) met me for lunch and it was SOOOOOOOOOO nice. Nothing compares to actually SEEING your friends and talking to them in person. That lunch date really got me thinking that I NEED to do this more. Wow. I should have warned this post would be capital letter heavy, but who knew!

So, my goal (yeah..me and my goals) is to reach out to my friends in real life. Call them up, make a date if we can, and actually see each other in person.  Just by luck I'll be seeing a friend this weekend (gotta love kids birthday parties for that), and I'm hoping to have dinner with another dear friend next week. So watch out friends, I'm coming for ya!!
